As you can see the title of this post is related to the song California Dreamin’ by The Mamas and Papas. It describes the leaves changing and the air getting cooler in preparation for winter. When the weather changes, our daily fashion follows suit. Today I am featuring a transitional outfit from the hot summer clothes, into the California fall (which isn’t too bad compared to other states ha ha). Either way, I enjoy this time of year because I can now start featuring outfits for cooler climates. I chose to show an outfit with a Fall seasonal look to it that is easy to put together. Even though I am wearing a tank top style shirt, the jeans and boots are very simple and comfortable to have on during this season. The weather hasn’t completely turned to winter yet so you can still wear those short sleeve tops that we all love before it gets too cold.
The big addition to this combo is the wide-brim fedora hat that has become very popular in the fashion industry. I’m sure you’ve seen celebrities rockin’ these lately and they happen to mesh well with most fall/winter outfits. Also, the maroon color of the hat fits nicely alongside other darker shades that you might choose to pair it with.
Thanks as always for viewing Stay Styled OC, and I’ll see you soon!
