Back To The Future…

On the first date with my fiancé, we asked each other what felt like a million and one questions. We didn’t know much about each other and he was leaving in two weeks for Spring Training. We had to ask everything we could to see if this was going to go anywhere ha-ha. As you might have guessed, those questions we’re answered to our liking and thankfully we’re still together five years later.

A question that I often ask my friends, co-workers and my fiancé is; “If you could live in any era, which one would it be”? I love to hear what they say because it tells me a lot about a person and their style. My fiancé LOVES the 90’s mostly because of the great basketball players (he’s a huge sports fan), old school hip hop style, and great TV shows.

As for me, I have two favorite decades… The 60’s for my high school years and the 70’s for college. I’m so inspired by those fashion eras and I try to incorporate them into my outfits daily.

Today’s look is more of a modern twist on what I would wear for work on “Casual Fridays”. I love pairing my flares with heels and bright colored sheer shirts. I feel like this outfit can be worn any season as long as you switch out the shirts and accessories. Thanks for stopping by and of course I have to ask…which era would you want to live in?!

I love the 60s styles too and the music. If I could live in any decade it would be the 20s when the flapper dresses were popular. I love the glitz and glam of the style during that era. Beautiful outfit by the way, love your top!
