Family Bridal Shower

This past weekend was a busy one for me, it was full of wedding activities and I’m now left completely drained from everything. On Saturday I drove out to my parents’ house to meet with my hairdresser for the wedding hair trial. I was waiting until I dyed my hair back to its natural color before I booked my appointment so I could have a better idea of what it would look like the day of. I absolutely LOVE the way she styled my hair and I can’t wait to see the full look on the big day!

On Sunday, I celebrated my second bridal shower which was hosted by my soon-to-be aunts. My fiancé comes from a BIG family which I love because it is the opposite of mine. I know there was a lot of time and work that was put into this shower and I couldn’t have been happier with the way it turned out. His’ aunts went above and beyond with throwing my shower and I’m so thankful and lucky to be a part of this loving family.

The house was decorated beautifully and I couldn’t get enough of the decorations! My favorite was the handmade table setting names, which looked like wedding dresses. These must’ve taken hours because each one was cut to perfection. The food and beverages were out of this world delicious! They had one of my FAVORITE appetizers which were the deviled eggs, I probably ate at least 20 of them. Ha ha!

Everyone that attended was mostly my soon-to-be mother in law’s friends who are ALL amazing and extremely friendly. Many of them I had met prior to the shower and the ones I didn’t know, I felt like I did from all of the wonderful stories she had told me in the past. They’re such HUGE fans of my fiancé as well as our relationship so it was nice to be surrounded with such great energy.

If both of my showers are reflections of what the wedding is going to be like, I truly can’t wait! Thank you for stopping by and I know I’ve been going a little crazy with my wedding posts. I’ve tried my best to not overwhelm everyone ha ha!
