Maid of all maids

Over the weekend I celebrated one of my sorority sister/closest friend – Jessica’s bridal shower. Her engagement was a special one because her and her now fiancé have been together for 10 years! They’ve been dating since high school and now their wedding is only two months away!

I’m excited to share these pictures with you because my best friend/Maid of Honor (MOH), Christa (my old blogger partner in crime) put together the shower. She is also Jessica’s MOH – Yup, that’s two weddings in one year for her! Christa is an event planner at UCI and plans the BEST events. She was totally in the zone and in her element this weekend. You could tell she’s a professional at this stuff and truly enjoyed “showering” our dear friend. Anytime I have questions about throwing a party or looking for a specific vender I know I can reach out to her.

I’ve listed a few of her tips, and DIY projects to help any MOH or bridesmaids throwing a bridal shower.

6 EASY Helpful Tips from Christa
1. Work in details that the bride loves.
Sex & the City quotes was something the bride wanted and Jessica requested tacos served at the shower. So I had one of the bridesmaids reach out to a Taco Man to serve authentic tacos – It was AMAZING.

2. Make the guests as comfortable as possible.
*Don’t overwhelm them with boring games or a lot of daunting tasks. Stick to 1-3 games that they can do from their seat.*

3. Myweddingfavors.com has great affordable and customizable gifts.

4. Oriental Trading Company has the best straw collection for cheap.

5. Marshalls has the cutest napkins starting at $2.99.

6. Use things around your house as décor
