Stagecoach

Hi everyone,

Now that Coachella is over it’s time to bust out your cowgirl boots and get ready for Stagecoach! Some of you might be wondering what Stagecoach is… Well, it’s basically the same concept as Coachella except with Country Artists (It’s also held at the same venue). Simply put, it’s a gigantic country music festival in the middle of the desert.

Throughout my college years, my friends and I would rent a hotel room or house, and head out to Indio, CA to watch our favorite singers perform. I have some of the BEST memories from attending this event and I’m so happy I lived within driving distance to the big music festival.

Even though I didn’t grow up in the South, I’ve always enjoyed listening to country music. I’ve attended numerous concerts, and to this day I STILL think country artists sound the best live. Unfortunately, this year I have decided to skip-out on the weekend because I’m trying to save money for my wedding. Instead, I thought it would be a fun idea to share a few Stagecoach/Country concert-inspired looks this week.

Those of you in California know it’s starting to heat up out here. That’s why I love wearing sundresses for these occasions. One year I remember I wore shorts and I was miserable because there wasn’t any room for loose fitting comfort. I told myself I would NEVER do that again!

A word of advice for those of you that are going this weekend: As hot as it is during the day, I recommend bringing a jacket because it gets pretty chilly at night. I always brought my “trusty” jean jacket because it was so easy to pair with my dresses.

I hope you enjoy my pictures and stay tuned for more upcoming Stagecoach looks!
