Tasty Treats

Now that our place is finally starting to look like a home, we’ve been able to host our friends and family for get-togethers. I’ve been on a pinning spree on Pinterest for new and easy recipes that I can use for when we have guests, (you can follow me on Pinterest at stay styled blog). I found this delicious, bacon wrapped, tater-tots, and cheese, appetizer that I knew my friends would love. I mean come on…who passes on bacon?!

I ended up cooking the tater-tot recipe on New Year’s Eve, (pictures seen below) as well as making a cranberry & mint champagne drink. Both were a BIG hit that night and extremely quick and easy to make. I’ve listed both recipes in case you’re interested in making them for yourself or your guests. With the Super Bowl right around the corner, these tots will be perfect for any sports fan!

Thanks for stopping by, I’ve linked my table, chairs and decorations below.

Tater-tot Recipe
0
Ingredients:

1 frozen bag of tots
1 package of bacon
1 small package of cheddar cheese
1 box of toothpicks

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 or 400 (depending on the quality of your oven. I had to set mine to 400).
Cut bacon strips in half so you end up with two pieces.
Cut cheese into a small square so it can fit on top of the tator-tot.
Place cheese on frozen tot
Wrap a piece of bacon around the cheese and tot.
Place tots on a cooking sheet and put them in the oven for 20-30mintues until bacon is crispy.
Once the bacon is cooked place one toothpick in each tot to hold everything together.

Mint
